A new edition of "Tilli's Story: My Thoughts Are Free" was released by iUniverse Star Books on Oct. 3, 2005, to coincide with German Unity Day. The new edition has a foreword by a German professor from Rockford, Ill., new pictures, a new cover design, and additional readers' guide material at the back of the book, such as a map, pronunciation guide, author interview, and suggested discussion questions. The price also has been lowered. The new ISBN for the softcover is 1-58348-072-2. For the hardcover, the new ISBN is 0-595-67342-2. • The authors signed a film rights option contract earlier this year with Hollywood producer Kathryn Lekan to turn Tilli's Story into a movie. Negotations to secure financing and talent are proceeding.
